Default velasmooth

I go for the consult on Monday. I am excited.
I will see what the drs before and after pics look like and then decide.
Of course all the pics on the velasmooth site are awesome.
I don't have a super serious case (i hope) we shall see. I will keep you posted. I saw another person say that she did it and didn't think that it worked. I want to be hopeful!!!

Default first velasmooth treatment

Ok, I had the first one today. It is not painful. There were a few spots that it hurt a little once the thing warmed up but just a bit. I do have a pretty high tolerance though. Anyway, I had my stomach and things treated, I figured why not, I was there. We shall see. It just turns pink and it is warm (your skin) but that is really it. I have to go back twice a week for about 8 weeks alledgedly to see results. I'll let you know. I wish someone else could tell me it was good. I guess I have to be the guinea pig.

Ok, I am going for my fourth treatment this morning.
They say that you will need at least 12-14.
I think my skin on my legs looks a little firmer or at least that is what I am telling myself because I have to drive 45 minutes every time I get a treatment and the treatment lasts 90 minutes. It is like 6 hours of my week.
YOu are very tied to this once you decide to do it. We shall see.
I am doing my stomach too so that is why it takes so long. Still no real pain, just a little heat every now and then, only one time was it too much to take. She said that some people can't stand it off of a one, but I am on the three which is the highest and there are very few moments where I feel anything at all but suctions. Ok, that is all there is to tell just keeping anyone who is interested up to date. 5 more weeks to go, fingers crossed for smooth thighs. (and belly of course)

I would like to know how your velasmooth turned out. I was on a course to do the Lipozap but I am having second thoughts and I am considering doing just the velasmooth. I already put a deposit down on the Lipozap so I thought I could just carry it over to this. What did you think of the treatments and were there any side effects?

Default velasmooth

Is lipozap like lipodissolve? or is it the needle free mesotherapy?
I am having my tenth treatment of velasmooth tomorrow.
I really think that it is working. It isn't perfect and it wasn't REALLY BAD to begin with. I am 39 and I have always had a little but I just felt like I was having skin sagging etc. I can really tell a difference in the quality of my skin. It is so much smoother and softer, also the bumps are better. Not perfect but I really feel like it is better. As far as I can tell there are no side effects and it doesn't really hurt except for a little bitty bit here and there.
But I was reading on line about these exercises that you can do where you roll on this stiff styrofoam thing and you use all of your body weight to roll on the parts of your body where you have cellulite and it is supposed to help so I did it and the next time I had the velasmooth it really hurt. I have been doing the rolling all week so I am dying to see if it hurts again tomorrow.
The velasmooth is supposed to work best in conjunction with the no needle mesotherapy but this dr doesn't have both yet. I wish that they did. No ne seems to have the no needle mesotherapy near me. (I have tried the mesotherapy with the needle and it was terrible, painful and did not work- now I have heard that lipodissolve is different and does work)

I saw something where they used both on the today show and the lady had 70% improvement which I think is awesome. I think that I am going to go ahead and have 16 treatments of the velasmooth. I will let you know. I think that it is worth it so far. I can't wait to see it at the end. I am sure it depends on how bad your cellulite really is. I just know that I am picky and I wasn't wearing shorts at all because I was hating how they looked. we shall see. I have never loved my legs but I am feeling a little more confident.

Cool Velasmooth

Hey Mec1122:

I work at a medical spa where we do the velasmooth. The feedback from the clients is mixed. Some see a modest change, others are extremely disappointed. Some of the women are not overweight and are actually good candidates. Some of the results may be in part may be because the aesthetician may not be doing a great job, so it may not be the technology. The company that manufactures the velasmooth, just released the next generation technology called velashape. We are supposed to be exchaning our velasmooth for the velashape. I completely stressed to the owner, that it is crucial to ge adequate training to acheive optimal results for our clients. It is supposed to be less treatments and improved results. I have never heard of meso without needles. Lipozap involves a combination of velasmooth first, then injections immediately following a treatment, which is supposed to give you improved results. Lipodissolve is also injections, but different than meso in regards to depths of injection and chemicals used. These techniques are time consuming, not to mention painful and require multiple treatments and patience to see results. You can expect a moderate improvement 2-4 inches if you are lucky, but it may not be your typical result. If this is good for you, then that is great! But I would not expect a huge, WOW! Hope this info is helpful for those considering these options.

Thank you both for your imput. mec112 please keep me updated on your results, I would love to know what you think when you are done. I have decided not to do the Lipozap, but I do think I will go ahead and try the velasmooth. I have already put money down so it is better than just loosing out on it.
