Hello to all... how does the doctor know that he has removed the right amount of fat or enough fat. At what point is he/she suctioning and says "ok, that's enough".
I hear people mention that they had 1200cc, 1600cc, or 1800cc removed, for example, with laser lipo and they thought that was not enough. I think I read that only 8lbs can be removed with smartlipo. I feel like I could have had more removed from my flanks. I am still healing... just 6.5 weeks out so I know a lot of changes still to come. |

Hi Catalina...that is a great question...I had my smartlipo pre-op yesterday...when I asked how many cc's does he anticipate removing from my u/l abs, waist and back...he said 1800
...I'm thinking that's waaaaaaay to conservative...and I said so...but I must remember he is the "expert". I just simply said...just make sure I notice a difference and I'll be ok. But while he's mapping my body just before the procedure, I think I'll tell him if he gets to 1800 and still has more "fat to suck" I won't be upset if he sucks more But he assured me that he will improve my hour glass shape...I felt pretty good...haven't seen the hour glass in awhile.![]() |
