I'd find out who in your area who has the most/best reputation in lipo and have a consultation as it pertains to repair. More lipo may or may not be the answer. I know that many PS's fill the areas...Id want someone with lots of experience.

Luisa,
Why do you want to just look for someone that does smartlipo. Please read the earlier threads explaining the common misconceptions about smartlipo.
Who you need to see is a surgeon with excellent experience in liposuction, specially someone that fixes a lot of botched liposuction procedures.
I don't know the prices where you live but, just to give you an idea, I live in Los Angeles and know that
Dr.Amron, who is one of the most sought out lipo surgeons in Beverly Hills (where PS fees are high) charges around $6000 -maybe even less depending on how much work you need.

I am two weeks out and my upper and lower stomach, sides, and back are all hard as a rock. I look like a freak and I am lumpy and scared stiff that this is not going to get any better and I will end up like you guys =( I had the smarty lipo too. I am also single and how do I explain being hard and lumpy to new partners? How embarassing.

I had smartlipo a year ago and I have lumps and unevenness all over my abs. I plan to see the Dr. to check on this. I don't even want to wear a 2 piece swim suit or a half top to the gym. It looks like something went wrong. I had to have a revision as I am back in the gym and this would slow everything down again.

Thumbs down Same here ..bad results after the smartlipo

It has been one year since my smart lipo surgery and the results are dreadful! Indeed I have a bit smaller waistline but the unevenness of the skin, the lumps and the strange appearance makes me regretting the money I spent the pain I had to go through.

Hi, I'm new here. I found this forum by googling "lumps and dents after lipo". I am in the same exact boat as you Luisa! I am 1 yr po and have the same lumps and dents as you describe. I too have a smaller waistline but the deformities of the overall appearance makes me regret ever doing it! I went back for a revising thinking that would make it all better and nothing! Looks exactly the same. It's almost, no, it is embarrassing and i am even more self conscious now about my stomach than before I did it. I was considering seeking out a plastic surgeon (I originally had the smartlipo done) to see if there is anything that can be done to fix it but from the sounds of what I have read, it sounds like I'm stuck with it. I was wondering if you have had any luck with finding a Dr. or a procedure that can help make it look any better?

Luisa or Nova29,

What is the link you know about that shows bad lipo jobs? Please let me know so I can compare my problems. I just don't think this smartlipo is so great and it is horrible that a lot of us now have to spend more money trying to get our bodies fixed. Does anyone know how good Dr. Malan is at repairing these kind of problems? I sent him an email thru his website last week but I have never heard back which is weird...
