Hello All,
I recently (Oct 16 09) got SL done in Oklahoma. I got my u/l abs, flanks, saddle bags, and hips done. I can tell a little bit of a difference. I have been wearing my garment 24/7. I work out everyday running 2 miles and doing abs and lite weights on arms. The problem is I am still so swollen. When I went in for my 4 week checkup I had gained 2 inches in my hips and 1 inch around my bra line. Is there any hope that this will go down soon. I have read the other posts and I guess I should just be patient. My friend went in a week after me and had the same areas done and she has no swelling left and looks just great. Well just wondering. Thanks Candy |

Sounds like fluid retention. Ask to start on diuretic pills and STOP the aggressive exercising for 10 days.
Also lymphatic deep massages can help. Keep us informed on your results. Regards Dr. Darryl J. Blinski, MIAMI - national smart lipo 7 body jet lipo instructor |

Just letting everyone know. I have cut down on my working out and the swelling has gone down a lot. I am so glad I was starting to get so depressed. My husband has noticed the swelling has gone down

That is good news indeed! I was asking my doctor how soon I could go back to dancing and working out, and he told me to just walk and he will let me know at my 2 week check up if I can do more than that. I am just so surprised that you would have the energy to do all that. I barely wanted to walk! LOL |
