Correcting bad SL results – tummy tuck the only option?

I had my original SmartLipo with Vaser done in 5/08. (The details of my experience and results are posted on this site, title is “Been almost 6 mos since SL w/Dr. Erik Smith – Are my results normal?”). Basically, my orig dr. removed too much fat from my abdomen, resulting in lumps, divots, unevenness, ridges, hardness, numbness, etc., and my torso looks horrible and abnormal, and it doesn’t feel very comfortable or normal either. To try and correct my deformed appearance, the dr. that took over for my orig. dr. (who was since removed from the practice) performed a touch-up procedure in 12/08 and BodyJet Lipo with fat injections in 11/09. She finally told me that the only way to correct my bad results is for me to have a plastic surgeon perform an abdominoplasty/tummy tuck. Recently, another Board Certified Plastic Surgeon told me that my results can be fixed – with a tummy tuck as my only option. I heard that Tara Reid got her bad lipo results fixed, but of course, I haven’t been able to find any info about what exactly she had done, which is not surprising. Was it possibly a tummy tuck? So I was wondering…has anyone had a tummy tuck done to fix their bad SmartLipo results? Does anybody know if a tummy tuck is the only solution/option for correcting bad SL results in the abdomen area? I am curious and eager to hear about any experiences or knowledge that members are willing to share. Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks!

Although many members have viewed this post, I see that no one has responded with any info. Just curious as to whether anyone has had any successful corrections performed on their bad SL results, whether it was a tummy tuck or some other procedure. I am mainly interested in the abdominal area. Thanks!
