From what I have read and researched, toxins that your body cannot process are stored in the fat around your sexual organs (for women, abs, hips, thighs, etc around the uturus, and under arms near the breasts.) This, of course, represents the problem areas for most women, and because the body is trying to block the reabsorbtion of these toxins, it is very hard to lose fat in these areas. One of the reasons that I am excited to go to Dr. Lopez is that she suctions the vaporized fat. The liver and kidneys could not process these toxins before, and it could really overtax the system to rerelease them into the body. I think suction sounds like the way to go!

My inner thighs were not suctioned, my doctor said it was too invasive too suction that area. Maybe it was because there was not a huge amount of fat to remove? It scares me to read about long term effetcs that could happen because I have this melted down fat in my body.

Sharryn, don't know why your doctor said "it was too invasive" because that is not true. I had lipo in this area twice with no adverse results, so don't know why he said that???? As far as worrying about the fat left in your body, I really don't think you will have any adverse reaction. Were your inner thighs the only area not suctioned or lipo'd? The SmartLipo procedure was FDA approved without suction so don't worry unnecessarily. The biggest downside I see is that you have to wait to see results.

Sharryn I don't understand why your doc didn't suction out the fat in your thighs either. I had my thighs done and my doc suctioned out the fat. I don't think you need to worry about the left in melted fat as your body will absorb it and eliminate it..............eventually. It does take longer to see results if you didn't have the suction. rcraig

Yes i asked him many times why he didnt suction from my inner thighs but he did from my stomach, he just kept saying it was too invasive. Again my new doctor was going to call him and ask why. I guess I could only grab one large handful of fat on my innner thighs. I am not too concerned at the moment because I can see 50% improvement 5 weeks out and I think it will take on a more natural shape as it depletes rather than my stomach having 500cc removed, im having to deal with contours, dints and dimpling where it wasnt before! while they work themselves out.

Hello, I am new to the site and I am thinking of the smart lipo. I do not have very much fat to get rid of...a little. I just really want to make the cellulite go away! You have me a bit scared about the dints and dimpling...I all ready have dimpling. I don't want any more of that. HAHA! is this left after the smart lipo and what do you mean by suctioning...I thought it was ment to just melt it and your body dispense with it...am I totally misinformed

I didnt mean to scare you, I just have some dint and dimpling above my belly button its working itself out, im still healing. I didnt really have much fat on my upper stomach at allso i guess thats why its gone a little weird. I had to get a little bit taken to look match up with my lower stomach. im only 5 weeks out. Each week I im looking way better. My lower stomach is perfect, I cant even grab any fat now, and it feels rock hard like abs underneath.
Im going to post some before after photos soon. |
