Hey Rcraig, I'm supposed to go down on December 5th. I don't know if I should go or not. I want to hear from Sonia to see how the trip across the border went. Have you heard anything from the center about the border situation?

The last I heard it was getting pretty bad. Apparently it is still safe to go to the center as they do pick you up and drive you there. I definately wouldn't be inclined to walk around down there though. I usually take the train down and then the trolley to the boarder then a taxi to the center. I don't know that I would want to do that right now! Give Robin a call and she should be able to tell you what's going on. Best of luck and keep us informed on your trip. rcraig

I'm thinking maybe I should reschedule or suck it up and buy a ticket to Matzalan. I'll call Robin this week and see what is going on. I wish I heard back from Sonia so I could hear how her trip went.

Hi Chopsuey, sorry I've been busy. Everything was perfect at TJ. The same night of the touch-up I was already having dinner at a restaurant...next day went to Fashion Valley..feeling great! The situation in TJ is pretty ugly...but if you go directly from the center to the hotel and then San Diego you'll be fine. Let me know what you decide.

Sonia that is great news. Hope you will be pleased with your outcome. I didn't think you would have a problem going to VC, but was really concerned that everything would go well. Glad you are home and starting your healing process. Chopsuey, I guess as long as you have someone from VC pick you up you too shouldn't have any problems. Good luck and keep us posted. rcraig

Rcraig, I'm hoping someone from the center picks me up. Last time I went there, their driver was unavailable and they hired a driver from an outside company to pick me up. We got lost because he didn't know where the center was and we were driving around for a while looking for it. I don't want this to happen again given the situation down there.

Oh I think now they have a permanent driver. He is really nice and always on time! I don't think you will have any problems there. When are you going again? Just give them a call and be sure he will be meeting you. Take care. rcraig
