Tummy Tuck is not a good idea if planning on having more children. Liposuction such as SmartLipo is ok but not TT.

Default Maybe...

I have seen some women who have had TT 3-5 months after having babies and their stomachs still look flat, they come back for breast lifts or aug. The trick is not gain more than the necessary Lbs during your pregnancies:
If you began pregnancy at a normal weight, you should gain 25–35 pounds over the nine months
If you began pregnancy underweight, you should probably gain a little more. That's because underweight women are more likely to have small babies. A 28- to 40-pound gain is usually recommended,
If you get a TT and keep a healthy diet then a year or two or more later you get pregnant, just make sure you only gain the necessary weight for your baby and put a lot of cocoa butter on you beautiful belly and you will keep your flat abdomen, belive me, I've seen it.

Default Not a good idea

If u r going to have more then one child then I would wait. I made the mistake of having a breast reduction after my first child and then had two more children and now need a new breast lift. My breasts do not look bad they are just not what I want them to be. If anyone is wondering...no I did not breast feed any of them.

My experience is that PS ask you to wait on a tummy tuck until you are completely finished having babies. That way you don't have to do another one. They aren't that painless after all. Plus, you don't want to have one when you have to lift up small children, so you either need to wait til the kids are old enough so you aren't constantly carrying them around, OR get some help at home for the first few weeks.

Lipo might be a good solution in the interim.

A friend of mine who works for a PS in FL says;

Default Stretch Marks

Are you thinking about having the tt because of general flabiness in the belly area or is it stretch marks?

If you got stretch marks with your first pregnancy, you'll get them with your second. If you're next pregnancy is within a couple of years after having a tt your skin is already stretched a little tighter from having the tummy tuck and the stretch marks will appear even faster!

I never had stretch marks before my pregnancy, got terrible ones during and had a tummy tuck after. My tummy was super tight the first 5 years and even with a slight weight gain (5-6 pounds) I saw a few new stretch marks crop up.

My tummy is still taut and looks great but the skin relaxed to a more normal tightness after about 5 years I would say.

Good Luck!
