Weight Loss-Inner Thigh Lift

Greetings!
Was curious if anyone knew of a fantastic surgeon who is skilled in the Thigh Lift procedure and who also uses the new Smart Lipo! I had about a 90 lb weight loss and am looking to tighten things up(upper arms and inner thighs,, as well as removing fat from upper and lower eyelids.) Am looking to have these procedures done in the Houston area ,as that is where my family is. Know of any surgeons in the Houston area that can accomplish these procedures? Thanks! Lv2dnce

Google Smart Lipo and look up Dr's in the Houston area who perform the procedure.I live in Newport Beach CA. Plastic Fantastic City and there are only 3-4 here that do it, so its fairly new.There is the Versilles clinic in Mexico thats talked about here on the forums and everyone says they are amazing there, thats not really to far for you,plus the cost is much less, check out the forums..good Luck Diana

Lv2dnce.........I will probably be the lone voice of dissention here, but I caution you about having expectations with regard to skin-tightening effects of SmartLipo. The thighs are notorious for not responding well to lipo, but it really depends on your age and skin elasticity.

I underwent SmartLipo primarily for the purported skin-tightening effects and saw absolutely NONE....nada, zip. I had only isolated small areas of fat that I couldn't get rid of through diet and exercise. My thighs actually look worse since the SmartLipo because what little fat I had on them is gone.

In all fairness, I knew that it was a gamble going into the procedure because I am older and have poor skin elasticity. My surgeon is a SmartLipo wiz and a true artist, and I know that she did her best for me. Alas, it just didn't work insofar as skin tightening.

I guess the bottom line is to be very realistic as to your expectations before committing to the procedure.

i am approaching the same thigh problem using refirme laser.
the clinic that i'm using has told me that they did not have any other patients that tried this approach for thighs and they gave me a very good price because of the uncertainty of the results.

so far, i've had two treatments and i do see some slight change.
i'm hoping i might see a 20% improvement after about 5 treatments.

after about 5 treatments (two of them using both the velasmooth AND the refirm) i've seen about a 10% improvement total.
this was an amazingly costly experiment that yielded a VERY subtle result.

i've also had practically no result to speak of after having 4 treatments on my upper arms (from elbow to armpit).

this contrasts with definite improvements that i've seen using refirme on my face and neck.

Hi everyone, I had smart lipo done on the side of my face, double chin and on my arms six weeks ago. My face looked slimmer and double chin is gone but I can feel the muscle harden on my chin! Well as for the arms there is not much different from before! My doctor said to wait longer to see the best result.

Three weeks ago I had tumescent/smart lipo done on my abs,inner and outer thighs plus on my knees. They looked great. I guess I don't have much to take out so I can see the result so soon. Will wait till August to see the final result.Now, I must do excercise daily just to keep my body trim.

Was I happy with the result from Tumescent/ smart lipo? I really don't know - all I know for now I am happy the way I look.

Do find a doctor that has experience in the methods you choose for better result.
