Sciton's ProLipo Laser Module has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for laser-assisted lipolysis. This means that physicians will soon be able to give a better option to patients of lipolysis without the associated risks of the traditional invasive liposuction procedure. According to Sciton, clinical trials for this product have been highly optimistic.

i. Some experts are of the opinion that Sciton's ProLipo is comparable to FDA approved Smartlipo, offered by Cynosure. However ProLipo also does Endovascular, Microvascular and Endovenus work
j. Sciton has not yet been announced when ProLipo will be available in the market.
