Home liposuction doctor warned against unauthorized professionals performing plastic surgeries

Luiz Carlos Ribeiro 49, the home liposuction doctor, performed liposuction on a women which led to her death in an apartment basement. Luiz carlos ribeiro is a Brazilian who is not a qualified Plastic Surgeon has been performing plastic surgeries both in Brazil and US. Ribeiro had been coming to the United States from his native Brazil for at least three years to perform illegal cosmetic surgeries in people’s homes for prices ranging between $1,800 to $3,000 per procedure. Ironically just a few days before the death of his patient, Ribeiro has also taped for a local channel, about the ill effects of getting plastic surgery done from unauthorized professionals. As for Ribeiro’s medical background, he is not registered with Brazil’s National Association of Plastic Surgeons, or Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plastica, based in Sao Paulo.
