With the advent of medical tourism many American patiets have travelled abroad for cheaper surgeries. There are many small companies that are providing full range of services from doctor selection, travel & hotel accomodation. Several companies which are specializing in medical tourism now want to offer their services to corporate giants. Companies like MedRetreat, IndUShealth, Health Net, Blue Shield of California and United Group Programs specialize in providing medical tourism services to individuals, now want to lure US employers to subscribe to their services. While the many experts think that many employers will not be interested in signing on to the idea due to regulatory, safety and liability concerns, there are a few who think this may change in the long term.
