A new device Hic-Cup is invented by Ehlinger, a town planner in Bucks County to effectively prevent hiccups. The device is based on the principle that, when two metals are immersed in liquid, a very low electrical current is created. However experts in the field as Joel Richter, a gastroenterologist has said that the device and its patent application are mostly 'hocus-pocus'.
