airport-scanner.jpg The new security scanners in airports that are scheduled to replace the old traditional method can apparently pick up passengers' personal details like breast and genital size. Installed in ten US airports till date, 30 more of these machines are likely to be added to airports across the country.

Highlights of the new security machines
a. These machines take only about a second to scan plane passengers.
b. Passengers are shut in glass booths while a three-dimensional image is made of their body beneath their clothes.
c. The booths emit "millimeter waves" designed to go through clothes.
d. These waves identify metal, plastics, ceramics, chemical materials and explosives.
e. It also allows the security screener s to see the passenger's sexual organs along with other details of their bodies.
f. The face of the passenger is blurred to protect the identity.
g. Security personnel look at the images in a separate room.
