With the increase in the number of plastic surgery accidents happening in skin care spa’s & non invasive cosmetic surgery centers, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has signed a law, which restricts the type of procedures to be performed in these centers. Starting July 1st the law restricts the operation of a cosmetic center with aesthetic services - such as Botox, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and laser rejuvenation treatment - to only dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

The law also restricts the number of satellite offices for primary care physician to four.
