It is widely known that water is good for the body. Experts claim that water flushes out toxins, cleans the bowels, help the skin look healthy and hydrate the body. Many write ups also suggest that drinking at least 8 glasses of water everyday is the secret of good health and longevity. But not many are aware of the fact too much of it can actually harm the body and even lead to serious complications.
Side effects of water therapy
a. It can reduce the body's sodium content, which regulates the body's electrical activities.
b. It can lead to neurological problems.
c. Too much water can harm older people since their kidneys are not equipped to flush out the excess water.
d. People on medication should consult a doctor before going in for this.
e. Too much water in the body can lead to serious health problems.
