According to a study conducted in the United States by a group of doctors from the Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, the more fat one has on the face, the younger that person will look. This is true only for people over 40 years of age. The results of this study are published in the April edition of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery journal.

a. Researchers looked at twins over 40
b. It was seen that those whose body mass index (BMI) was higher by four points had a younger looking face.
c. However, it was also noticed that before the age of 40, the extra weight made the face look older.
d. It was concluded that more weight on the face can make one look younger.
e. Researchers also said that after the age of 55 a woman with a BMI eight points higher looked younger.
