gentle-waves-skin-treatment.jpg FDA has approved a new "Gentle Waves" skin treatment that rebuilds the skin from the bottom, reduces the aging signs of skin and makes skin smooth. Unlike laser treatments, the Gentle Waves skin treatment does not heat or cause thermal injury to skin and thus makes the procedure safe. It does not require any downtime and can be performed during lunch time. But the people with leathery skin are not suitable candidates for the treatment. Gentle Waves is a light-emitting diode device which uses a series of lights to project light under the skin and cause a chemical reaction to enhance collagen production. The treatment is recommended in a package of 6 to 12 times and costs between $750 to $1,000 for each package.
