It is true that people are often taken at face value. Now it has been proved by researchers that a botox enhanced face can help people make a better first impression in relation to attractiveness, dating success and athleticism. The results of this study have been presented at the 2008 American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Chicago, IL.

Highlights of the research
a. Researchers took before and after photographs of participants who had undergone treatment with the botulinum toxin A.
b. These photos were randomly divided into books.
c. Each subject was represented only once per book.
d. Blinded evaluators rated their first impression on various measures of success for each photo in the book.
e. It was seen that participants who received the injections improved first impression scores for scales of dating success, attractiveness and athletic success.
f. However, there were no positive correlation between botulinum toxin A injection and increased scores regarding social skills, financial or relationship success.
