The first ever study conducted on Botox has revealed that 63 percent of patients receiving Botox have reported looking 5-6 years younger than their current age after treatment for upper facial lines, compared to just 23 percent of patients receiving placebo. The study was conducted on 249 patients and a Self-Perception of Age ( SPA ) scale was used to measure the patients age. The SPA scale was used before the study adn four weeks after the study. This study was funded by Allergan, Inc.
