Most women in their 60's are maintaining their yourthful appearance, but not naturally. The secret of their beauty is not their genes but plastic surgery. BUPA, a private health insurer in U.K, reported that there was a 40% increase last year, and 37 per cent the year before that, in demand for cosmetic operations among the 60+. One in twelve cosmetic procedures performed in BUPA hospitals is for those who are over 60. More than a third of cosmetic operations on the over-60s are to fix droopy eyelids, both top and bottom. A further quarter opt for general facelifts to reduce wrinkles and creases, and 8 per cent seek to reverse breast sag.
