The cosmetics industry is worth billions of dollars. Over the years, this industry has undergone a change in the sense that people now look for an alternative to products that have chemicals in them. They are now more inclined to go for natural and organic products. Keeping this trend in mind, a new cosmetic company has now claimed that it uses only Bacteriostatic water as an alternative preservative for its skin care products. This is an alternative to paraben, a chemical that is commonly used as a preservative in skin care products. Paraben is supposed to lead to premature aging of the skin, according to a research conducted by Journal of Applied Toxicology.
