Creating artificial skin is the favored option right now. There will soon be many alternatives in the market thanks to the efforts of leading cosmetic companies.

c. In Provence, France, scientists are working on alternative testing research in vitro.
d. In Nice, SkinEthic, a 15-year-old company, is developing cellular tools that include a range of human tissues.
e. L'Oréal's Episkin, developed in Lyon, can fully replace animals.
f. Another alternative are the tiny membranes within chicken eggs which can be used for testing chemicals.
