A lotion with sun tanning effect

Research scientists at the University of Kentucky are in the process of testing a lotion which could be a safe alternative to sun tanning process and tanning booths. The primary compound 'forskolin' a derivative of the plant Pletranthus barbatus in the lotion induces the skin in producing more melanin of its own which gives a natural tan look. Going under the sun for tan effect, tanning booths and other tanning products are not too safe and these procedures can lead to skin cancers and skin damage. The product is still not tested on human beings but the tests conducted in an animal model have given positive results. According to the reports of scientists this will do no harm and instead it works as a sunscreen and protects you from all kinds of UV radiation.
